Mardi Gras 2012

We walked over to the Children's Parade on Sunday.  Luckily we don't have to worry about parking and traffic when it comes to Mardi Gras.  Luke had fun, the sirens and music didn't bother him, only the 18 wheeler horns.  I think Roscoe was more freaked out.

more

I guess this last picture will be more common in the next few years.  Always moving.

more pictures

All 3 of you know that I don't write much, just post pictures.  So here you go.

We thought it was a nap that was starting at 6pm, which we were okay with.
He slept through dinner and didn't wake until the next morning.

Luke needed some shoes with grip to help with crawling and pulling up.
He is the proud (second) owner of some Nike Shox!

A fit....so pitiful.

Playing with his sippy cup during dinner.

Justin visited DeRidder, this is what happened.  :(
Luke doesn't know how to call a Hog... thank goodness!

I sat him down to take a picture of his Superman shirt, but he decided
that was not going to happen and started slithering towards me.

7 months

- eating 3 meals of baby foods a day
- 2 snacks
- still drinking about 28 ounces of formula a day
- drinks water from a sippy cup at meal time

Yes, I can see the difference in the pictures above.  I took them with different cameras and am still learning the new one.  Plus, the picture is taken quickly while allowing him to stand on a rocker...  :)

In some of the pictures you can see his ankle bracelet.  It is an Amber Teething Bracelet.  Amber is a natural anti-inflammatory and absorbed through the skin.  Often used in other countries by a variety of people and causes.  We have not had major issues with teething yet, but I have heard nothing but great things about them.  I have also heard it helps with eating and sleeping.  So we are giving it a try.
